Notes About this Helicopter:
****************************
FS2002 / FS2004 Helicopter Design and Paint by Lynn Rogers.

This is one of the most recognized helicopters in the history of rotoray aviation. Mostly due to its prominant role in the Vietnam War and extensive post-war commercial use. The Huey was one of the first light helicopters able to carry significant internal payloads due to its unique cabin design and over-head mounted gas-turbine power plant. The first Huey flew in service in June, 1959, and went overseas in 1960. There were nine major variants of the UH-1 over the years of production. The differences between the D model and the H model is the use of the Lycoming T-53-L-13 powerplant and the placement of a pitot tube and blade antenna on the cabin roof. The change of engine was prompted by difficulty in hovering in high temperatures due to inadequate power.

Special Thanks to the Following:
********************************

Marty Miller - For getting me started and helping me with the Virtual Cockpit and the Shadow Effects and for testing this helicopter for me during the design stages.

Dirk Fassbender - For requesting that I make this particular helicopter for him and bringing back fond memories of flying it. It was a fun and enjoyable experience.

Dave Eckert - For the freeware pilot .fsc file. (thanks for the time saver Dave!) and most important thank you Dave for taking your time and helping me to understand the animation sequence for FSDSv2, with out your help I would probably still be lost and using FSDS v1.6.

Manuel Gonzalez - For the sound files. Fantastic Work as usual.

Brian McIntyre - For making my main and tail rotor disk. (Twice :-) )

Thank you for your work and comments in helping to make this project better for everyone.
